Weather and road conditions may get worse through the afternoon and evening across Midwestern Ontario.
A stronger northwest wind will trigger blowing snow and off-lake snow squalls.
Roads are snow-covered and slippery in places. Plows are making regular patrols.
Visibility is reduced because of steady light snow and moderate drifting.
Off-lake snow squalls are expected overnight Wednesday and into Thursday. Total snowfall could be 10 to 15 centimetres by Thursday morning, with even more in some areas where snow squalls linger.
A snow squall warning is in effect for Southern Huron County, while a snow squall watch has ended for the rest of the region.
