GOJHL Wrap: 99ers and Winterhawks earn wins

Brantford 3 Kitchener 2

Ben Sheppard's second period power play goal would stand as the game winner in Brantford's 3-2 win over Kitchener.

Tyler Harrison tried to get a late rally started for the Dutchmen, scoring with just 49 seconds left in the game but it wasn't to be.

The 99ers also got goals from Shaun General and Jordan Morgan.

Cambridge 3 Waterloo 1

Eric Maltby struck twice including the game winner early in the third and the Cambridge Redhawks beat Waterloo 3-1.

Alex Lycett was the lone scorer for the Siskins, finally putting the Waterloo on the board with 44 seconds left in the game. He scored short handed with an extra attacker on the ice.
