APTIM sets up in Teeswater to support Bruce Power

Bruce Power's Life-Extension Program has attracted another international company to Bruce County.

APTIM Services Canada Corp has secured a large office and shop facility in Teeswater. The company will be hiring local workers to fill the jobs at their new facility.

As a supplier, APTIM will provide services connected with Bruce Power’s Outage and Life-Extension Programs, as well as support for capital improvement projects, maintenance, and other work at the Bruce site.

APTIM specializes in engineering, program management, environmental services, disaster recovery, complex facility maintenance, and construction services.

John Sowers with APTIM Services Canada Corp said the company is excited to meet its new neighbours and become part of the history of Teeswater.

"We are pleased to have formed this new partnership with Bruce Power and establish roots in one of the communities in the tri-county area," Sowers said. "Our mission is to deliver extraordinary results by merging inspired innovation with an empowered workforce."

"It is exciting to form this new partnership with APTIM and see them expand their operations into Bruce County," said John Soini, Bruce Power’s executive vice president, finance & commercial services.
