The supply of homes for sale in Grey Bruce Owen Sound sits at a record low, while sales are in line with the 10-year average.
The Grey Bruce Owen Sound Realtors Association reports the sale of 284 homes in August, which is a 9.3% drop from the same month last year.
The year to date average sales price is about $358,000. which is up 15% from the first 8 months of 2017.
So far this year, just over 2000 units have sold, which is down almost 17% from the past year's record-setting sales activity.
Overall supply stands at record lows. Active residential listings numbered 913 units at the end of August. This was a decrease of 19.5% from the end of August 2017
