The online recruitment officer for Contact North has said their move from Stratford to the REACH Centre in Clinton has worked well.
Jeffrey Scholl said they're looking at increasing both their online program and the number of classes they have at the REACH Centre. Scholl explains the focus of their online program is to allow students to complete their education or upgrade their skills without having to leave their home community.
He said last year they had 1,200 online students and they're expecting to reach 1,500 this year. Scholl said they've also expanded their program at the Clinton Centre to meet demand.
"Last year they had two separate classes where the had a professor come in and teach the class and this year they actually have three classes because they have too many students for two classes so they were able to increase their actual enrollment, bringing more students to the physical campus here in Clinton to be able to get their education," said Scholl.
