UPDATE: Man Arrested After Search Warrant Executed In Dornoch

West Grey police have charged a 63-year-old man after executing a search warrant in Dornoch Monday morning.

The service says the warrant pertains to an alleged marijuana dispensary in the Dornoch area. Pictures posted on the force's Facebook Page show several cruisers in front of the Dornoch General Store on Hwy. 6.

Police confirm a large amount of marijuana "edibles" was seized, which they claim was packaged in a way to target children. Some edibles were sold in the form of "gummies and lollipops", according to West Grey Police Constable Cory Trainor.

Trainor says marijuana products sold by illegal dispensaries are potentially harmful because the business owners do not know the exact ingredients of the product.

The 63-year-old man held in custody has a registered address in Mississauga and has a bail hearing set for Tuesday in Walkerton.
