Police Identify Mount Forest Woman After Remains Found

Police have released the identity of a woman after human remains were found in a wooded area in Mount Forest.

The Ontario Provincial Police say on Tuesday, the remains were found in a wooded area in a ravine near the intersection of North Water and John streets late Tuesday morning.

Police have since identified the body as that of missing 50-year-old Catherine Ann Buckle of Mount Forest.

The preliminary forensic examination has concluded and there are no indications of foul play

Buckle was last seen on June 30 and police issued released a missing person report to the public on July 3.

Police say foul play is not suspected in her death.
