Hanover Council Approves New Façade Grants For Downtown Businesses

Hanover Council has approved a staff recommendation to grant funding for seven downtown facade incentive projects.

In a news release, Economic Development Manager April Marshall says the town looks forward to seeing the diverse, creative improvements that "contribute to the visual and structural vibrancy of Hanover's downtown".

The recommendation to grant funding for 7 Downtown Façade Incentive Projects was approved at Hanover council on Monday. The Town of Hanover's Façade Incentive Program has seen an investment of $215,389 in grants from the municipality, resulting in $755,022 in improvements to downtown properties since 2014.

The Downtown Revitalization Implementation Committee considered applications for a fifth intake and awarded $25,571 in funding.
