Fire Bans Lifted In Kincardine, Saugeen Shores And Part Of Huron-Kinloss

Fire bans have been lifted for Kincardine, Saugeen Shores and the area of Huron-Kinloss covered by the Ripley-Huron Fire Department.

The bans were implemented on July 9 and though the open air ban is now lifted, fire officials urge residents to still be very cautious when having fires.

When having a fire, be sure to clear all combustible materials, keep propane tanks at least 3 metres from buildings, clear out any accumulated dry or dead debris from your property, and be careful to not throw cigarettes away where they could still burn and spark a fire.
