Minto is getting four new charging stations for electric vehicles.
The project, in partnership with Arntjen Solar has a total cost of $80,000, but with provincial funding, Minto’s cost will be just $4,800.
The Level 2 chargers will be located at the arenas in Palmerston and Harriston, the municipal office, and near the water tower in Palmerston.
Minto put a charging station in Clifford at the arena in 2016 which was fully funded by the province.
