It's going to be a hot Canada Day weekend.
Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement that starts with rain and slides into some hot temperatures.
There is potential for heavy rain and thunderstorms tomorrow in the Huron, Perth and northern Wellington areas. There could be between 15 and 20 mm of rain through the day.
After the clouds and rain clear, temperatures will start to climb on Friday, flirting with the 30 C mark and surpassing it through Saturday and Sunday. Humidex values could rise into the into the mid-forties.
