A new long-term care facility is coming to Hanover.
Mayor Sue Patterson says it will be a significant addition of beds.
"Revera has purchased some land across from the hospital," she says. "They are building a new facility with 96 long-term care beds."
Patterson says that the location is perfect for the facility, and council confirmed the land purchase last night.
"It's a very suitable location for a long-term care home, near the hospital, it's a beautiful area there, and we're very pleased they're going to be in Hanover," she says.
There is no estimate yet on when the project will get underway.
