An OPP investigation turned up drugs, cash, weapons and stolen goods in Central Huron last week.
On Wednesday, June 13th, the OPP, Community Street Crime Unit, Huron County OPP, West Region Emergency Response Team and West Region Canine executed a search warrant at a residence located on Hullett-McKillop Road in the Municipality of Central Huron. As a result police arrested and charged 6 people, and are seeking an arrest warrant of one additional male suspect.
Police seized drugs including methamphetamine, fentanyl, cannabis marihuana and psilocybin (magic mushrooms) that have a combined estimated street value of $12,490. Police also seized prohibited weapons, a stolen pick-up truck, ATV, a generator and Mig welder.
27-year-old Tabitha Schell and 43-year-old John Wain, both from Central Huron, have been charged with:
Possession for the Purposes of Trafficking (Marihuana) Possession for the Purposes of Trafficking (Fentanyl) Possession of Cannabis Marihuana Possession of Psilocybin (Magic Mushrooms) Two Counts of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000 Two Counts of Altering, Destroying, Obliterating Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) on a Motor Vehicle.
41-year-old Steven Slotegraaf of Goderich and 26-year-old Jamie Smith from Huron East have been charged with:

31-year-old Kristy Lee Hillier from Kitchener and 35-year-old Peter Keenan-Dyck from London have been charged with:
Possession of Methamphetamine for the Purposes of Trafficking Possession of a Prohibited Weapon Possession of a Prohibited Weapon contrary to a Prohibition Order
All accused have since been released from custody with court appearances scheduled for July 23, 2018 at the Ontario Court of Justice in Goderich.
