Ratcliffe to Wear the "C" For Guelph

The Guelph Storm announced their captain for the 2018-19 season. Isaac Ratcliffe will be wearing the "C" for the Storm.

In a post on the club's website, General Manager and Head Coach George Burnett described Ratcliffe as "a terrific ambassador for our team in the community and the ideal person to lead our team in 2018-19."

Burnett went on to says Ratcliffe's "work habits on the ice and in the gym set an excellent example for everyone in our organization."

It will be Ratcliffe's fourth season with storm. Over 180 games he's earned 135 points including a career-best 68 points in 67 games last season.

The 19-year-old London native got the Glad Mowat Award as the Storm's MVP last season for his 41 goals for the team.

Ratcliffe takes over the helm from Kincardine's Garrett McFadden who completed his overage year last season.
