Reduced Flows Into Arthur Sewage Plant

The Village of Arthur may get a break on its development freeze imposed due to lack of sewage capacity.

Flows at the treatment plant have been at reduced rates coming into 2018, and effluent from the treatment plant is up to standards. If the trend continues, Wellington North council may consider dropping the freeze on in-fill residential development.

The municipality is also pushing ahead with plans to expand capacity at the Arthur Waste Water Plant.
