The mayor of Goderich says fundraising for the Agricultural Park is coming along very well.
"Councillor Bazinet mentioned that they have a number of cheques that are being presented this week and they're going to surpass their goal of over a million dollars in fundraising before they even go to the public," says Mayor Kevin Morrison.
Wet weather has help up construction over the last couple of weeks but infrastructure is going in.
The mayor says the new park won't be ready for use until next year but they'll have new ball diamonds, the soccer pitches, skateboard park, concession stands and public washrooms.
