Police had been alerted that there was a suspicious package near Walser St. and Keating Dr.
Someone had spotted a cardboard box with an explosive label on it and four yellow sticks of dynamite.
The disposal unit destroyed the dynamite without incident.
Anyone with information that could assist Wellington County OPP with this case in Elora is asked to call them.
