The G2G Rail Trail organization has entered into a partnership with the Gateway Centre of Excellence in Rural Health.
Gateway President Jay McFarlane and G2G board member Chris Lee have signed a memorandum of understanding.
McFarlane points out that as a former board member with Gateway, Lee has a good understanding of what Gateway is all about and how the two organizations share many common goals and interests.
McFarlane says they're currently working on details of a joint fund-raiser that they could hold on the G2G trail. They're also looking at a variety of research opportunities.
