When Peter first scratched the ticket, he thought he won $5,000. But when checking his ticket at the self-checker, he saw $75,000 on the screen.

“I went out to the car and told my wife to come inside the store and check the ticket too. We checked it two more times and saw the same thing,” he shared, while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his cheque. “We did some high fives in the store before heading home to celebrate.”

The married father of three plans to top up the kids’ education funds and go on a family vacation.

“I am very grateful," he said. "This is an awesome feeling.”
