Employers in Bruce, Grey, Huron and Perth counties are being asked for their input again.
The fourth annual EmployerOne Survey opens to employers in the four counties on January 1.
The online survey gives the Four County Labour Market Planning Board an understanding of local labour market challenges. Employers have until January 31 to complete the anonymous and confidential survey.
A key reflection in last year’s survey showed that most businesses found the availability of qualified workers to be fair or poor, and that soft skills -- including motivation, attitude and interpersonal abilities -- remain major concerns across all occupations.
Employers can complete the survey during the period January 1 to 31 by visiting https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/FCLMPB2018.
The information and other findings will be shared with stakeholders and through publications that are used as career development tools.
Gemma Mendez-Smith, Executive Director of the Four County Labour Market Planning Board commented in a news release, "Again this year, we look forward to hearing insights from local businesses about their challenges and experiences."
