H-P Healthcare Alliance Gets Funding For Energy Projects

The Huron-Perth Healthcare Alliance is getting over two-million dollars through the Province's infrastructure funding for Energy Initiatives.

C-E-O Andrew Williams the money will go towards roofing projects at the Stratford and St. Marys sites and lighting at the Seaforth site.   Williams explains the work was part of their plan to become more energy efficient but they expected they'd have to use their own resources to do it so the Provincial funding is a great addition.

Williams adds they have to have the work done by March of next year so they're going to be very busy but it will be a big win for both their budget and the environment.

"The roofing and the lighting we had planned on doing but were expecting to use our own resources, so it's tremendous from that perspective," stated Williams.  "We do have to have all of the work done by March of this fiscal year so we're busy but it was a nice addition to our plans as an organization to become more energy efficient."
