The Attack came back from a two goal deficit to briefly take the lead but in the end gave up three in the third to lose 6-4 to Barrie.
Andrei Svechnikov led the Colts with a hat trick. Aaron Luchuk scored and set up two of Barrie's goals. Alexey Lipanov set up three for Barrie.
The Attack were led by Aidan Dudas with a goal and two assists. Ethan Szypula, Chase Campbell and Jacob Friend also scored for the Attack.
Both goalies faced 34 shots but it was Leo Lazarev who made the two extra saves. Mack Guzda took the loss for the Attack.
The Attack have now fallen to fourth in the Midwest Division with 32 points. Ten points back of first place Kitchener and two points behind third place London.
Barrie leads the Central Division with 39 points.
The Attack are back in action on Saturday when they host the Kingston Frontenacs.
