The Wingham and District Hospital is getting a number of specialized mattresses, thanks to the ongoing support of the hospital's Auxilary members.
The Auxiliary has donated $11,000 for the purchase of four of the pressure-relief mattress on the in-patient floor. These mattresses improve the healing and long-term care comfort for patients.
The Auxiliary plans to raise money for two more mattresses.
The 2017 Poinsettia Tea and Bake Sale will be held Wednesday [Dec. 6th] from 1:30 to 4:30pm in the new Terrace Room (former doctor’s clinic) at the Wingham and District Hospital. (enter from Catherine Street)
Since its inception 110 year ago, the Auxiliary has contributed a total of $108,000 to the Wingham Hospital.
