Nick Suzuki had a hat trick including the game winner to lead the Owen Sound Attack over Flint 6-4.
Aidan Dudas set up three of the Attack's goals in the win.
Ryan Moore led the Firebirds with a pair of goals.
Rookie net minder Mack Guzda stopped 33 shots for the Attack. Garrett Forrest allowed all six of of the Firebirds goals on 40 shots before being replaced by Luke Cavallin midway through the third. Cavallin stopped all six shots he faced in relief.
The Attack opened the scoring at 5:28 of the first but Flint answered with two of their own to lead the game 2-1 heading into the second. Suzuki scored his second of the game on the power play less than two minutes into the second to even the score. Chase Campbell put the Attack ahead at 10:33. Moore's second goal of the game evened the score with just two second left in the middle frame.
Maksim Sushko tied the game again in the first 62 seconds of the third. Suzuki scored the eventual game winner less than seven minutes later. Daylon Groulx added insurance at 8:36. Ethan Keppen scored for Flint midway through the final frame.
Kitchener 4 Peterborough 1
Riley Damiani scored the eventual game winner late in the second and Logan Stanley added insurance in the opening minute of the third as the Kitchener Rangers topped Peterborough 4-1.
After allowing Petes' defenseman Declan Chisholm to score at 1:11 of the first, Luke Richardson stopped the next 26 shots he faced to earn the win for the Rangers.
Dylan Wells stopped 36 of 39 shots he faced for Peterborough.
Ryan Merkley scored at 13:34 of the third to send the game into overtime but Guelph couldn't find the back of the net in the extra frame and lost 4-3 to Sarnia.
Adam Ruzicka scored the game winner at 2:57 of the extra period for the Sting.
Anthony Popovich made 37 saves for the Storm. Justin Fazio stopped 25 shots for the Sting.

Joseph Raaymakers stopped all 34 shots he faced to give the London Knights a 4-0 shut out of Windsor.
Cliff Pu had a pair of goals for the Knights. Max Jones and Tyler Rollo also scored.
London is fourth in the Midwest, 10 points back of first place Kitchener.
