The VON Perth Huron is promoting The Cool Aid Program to ensure your medical information is quickly accessible in an emergency. Participants receive a form where they can record their health history and critical medical information. That information is kept on the front of the participant's fridge, where paramedics or other responders can easily find it. The program is free, and VON Perth Huron will also place a follow-up call every 12 weeks to ensure the information is kept up to date. So far, over 50 residents are taking advantage of Cool Aid.
