Perth County OPP have made an arrest in connection to an investigation into counterfeit US currency.
On Thursday, September 14, members of the Perth County OPP Crime Unit and uniform division arrested a 24-year-old man from Perth East as part of the investigation.
Pre-paid credit cards, drugs, drug paraphernalia and counterfeit bills were also seized.
Gerhard Braun has been arrested and charged with:
- Possession of a Schedule I substance-methamphetamine
- Possession of counterfeit money (American $100 bills)
- Failing to comply with recognizance
- Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000
- Fail to comply with probation order
