One woman died after a jeep veered off the road in Grey Highlands.
The crash was reported just after 6am Thursday morning on Grey Rd. 4 between Grey Rd. 14 and the Artemesia-Glenelg Townline.
Police report that the Jeep Compass SUV was travelling westbound on Grey Rd. 4. The vehicle left the road and rolled down a steep embankment. The vehicle came to rest on its roof, partially submerged in a pond on the north side of Grey Rd. 4.
With the assistance of the OPP Underwater Search and Rescue Unit, the lone occupant of the vehicle was recovered from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim has been identified as 56-year old Mary Davieau of Brampton.
A section of Grey Rd. 4 was closed for several hours for the investigation.
