Ontario Provincial Police are looking into a sudden death in Perth County.
Police were called to a residence on Inkerman St East near Nicol Ave North in Listowel shortly after 11:30am Sunday. A man at the residence had become trapped in his garage.
The 55-year-old man was apparently working on his vehicle in the garage when it somehow rolled off the car jacks and trapped him.
OPP officers, along with the North Perth Fire Department and Perth County EMS, were able to free the man from the vehicle, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim's name has not been released since police are in the process of notifying loved ones. The investigation is ongoing.
