The Kincardine Community Fund hosts its Cardboard Boat Regatta this weekend.
Teams can only use cardboard, glue and a small amount of tape to create their craft.
The teams will race their crafts to prove their speed and seaworthiness during the Kincardine Marine Heritage Festival.
Registration starts at 9am
The festival will be focused on the Walker House Heritage Centre.
The tall ships are not sailing the great lakes this year, but will return to next year's festival.
Events at the Walker House include entertainment, and a presentation by shipwreck hunter, diver and historian Carl Lafrance.
