OPP Investigating Back-To-Back Breaks At Clinton Raceway

Huron County OPP are seeking tips from the public after back-to-back break-in thefts from the Clinton Raceway this week.

On Tuesday, the OPP were notified about the first break-in, which took place sometime early that morning when unknown suspect(s) forced their way through a window in the grandstand. The thieves stole 71 cases of empty beer cans, and six 40 ounce bottles of liquor.

The next night the thieves returned, again through the grandstand window, and stole ten  cases of beer in cans, 20 40 ounce liquor bottles and a case of cooler cans. Estimated value of the stolen property is $2,000.

Anyone with information regarding these thefts should contact Huron County OPP or Crime Stoppers.
