The Belmore Jr. Sting have earned a birth in the Championship of the ongoing Under-16 Ontario Amateur Softball Asscoiation Provincial Qualifier tournament in Drumbo.
Belmore has cruised through the opposition, with an opening 10-1 victory over Kitchener, followed by a 9-1 win over Innerkip, before a 5-2 win over Shallow Lake in the Winner's Bracket Final.
Belmore now advances to the championship game of the double-elimination tournament, with two chances to earn one victory over the winner of the loser's bracket.
The championship game for the OASA U16 Bantam Provincial Qualifier begins at 3:00 today.
