Southampton Rotary Accessible Splash Pad Unveiled

Saugeen Shores unveiled their new Southampton Rotary Accessible Splash Pad today at Jubilee Park in Southampton.

The grand opening got underway at 11am this morning and featured speeches, a BBQ, cake and refreshments. With weather permitting, the splash pad will be open 10am until 8pm daily through the rest of the summer through Labour Day and weekends in September.

The new splash pad is sporting a firefighting theme, and includes many in ground and above ground water features for children of all ages. Jubilee Park now also features ample parking, washroom facilities, a picnic shelter and picnic tables and benches.

Funds for the project came from grants, donations, municipal support and Rotary fundraising.
