Hydro One says power was interrupted due to a collision about 2:30pm for people in Proton, West Luther, Bentinck, Normanby, Brant, Egremont, Ayton, Carrick, Arthur and Minto.

Hydro crews have responded to the site to make repairs.

Hwy. 6 was closed Wednesday afternoon in both directions following a collision between McFarlane Dr. and Grey Rd. 109 in the Mount Forest area.

Wellington North Power says hydro was also out in Mount Forest but power was restored at around 5pm.
