Reconstruction of the watermain and services along 16th St. W is underway in Owen Sound.
The watermain has reached the end of its lifespan between 5th and 8th avenues.
The road will be closed until construction wraps up by about September 4. Detours will be in place to ensure access to local properties.
Any service disruptions will have 48 hours notice, and will only last one working day.
The watermain also serves customers in Georgian Bluffs as far west as Park St. and as far north as 19th St. W.
These customers will experience water interruptions during the construction period.
