The Lake Huron Centre for Coastal Conservation will be conducting a workshop on turtles Saturday morning at the Sauble Beach Community Centre.
Coastal Centre Executive Director Erinn Lawrie says the workshop is titled "Meet Lake Huron's Turtles" and they'll start by talking about the coastal wetlands on Lake Huron, which is important habitat for turtles.
Staff from Scales Nature Park will introduce people to some live turtles and they'll demonstrate things like how to safely pick up a Snapping Turtle and how to help a turtle cross the road.
The workshop runs from ten till noon at the Sauble Beach Community Centre.
