Police Identify Human Remains Found In Northern Bruce Peninsula

Police say human remains found earlier this week are that of a missing South Bruce Peninsula man.

The Ontario Provincial Police say on Tuesday around 11:39am, officers were called to a bush area along Lakewood Country Lane in Northern Bruce Peninsula, where the remains were found, which were described as human bones.  The remains were taken to the Office of the Chief Coroner and Ontario Forensic Pathology Service in Toronto for post mortem examinations.

The remains have since been identified as 30-year old Niram Lee Shouldice of South Bruce Peninsula, who was reported missing back on March 6.

Police say an investigation is ongoing.
