Downtown intersection in Listowel Wednesday, May 31st. (photo by Ryan Drury)A busy intersection in downtown Listowel was blocked off Wednesday morning because of a collision.
The crash was at the intersection of Wallace Ave. N and Elizabeth St. It involved an SUV and a minivan.
Paramedics, police and firefighters were at the scene. Several people were taken to hospital.
Traffic is being re-routed around that scene near downtown Listowel.
Alan Smith will begin his new role with the municipality on July 20.
