Grey Bruce Students Can Apply For Scholarships Through Local Portal

Students in Grey and Bruce can apply for a share of over $640,000 to help pay for their post secondary education.

The Community Foundation Grey Bruce has gathered together a list of locally developed application based awards for area students pursuing post secondary education or training opportunities.

The website www.payforschoolgreybruce.com is a portal where students can customize their search based on their high school, or their chose education pathway.

The website currently lists information on 500 different scholarships, many of which are offering $500 or $1,000 awards, with a few of up to tens of thousands of dollars.

Deadlines vary, but many of them are coming up on May 31.

“We’re pleased to offer this comprehensive resource for Grey Bruce students. Pursuing education opportunities is certainly commendable and payforschoolgreybruce.com serves as a depository of financial resources to help local students realize a diversity of education pathways," says Stuart Reid, executive director of Community Foundation Grey Bruce.
