Hanover Police Investigating Pharmacy Robbery

The Hanover Police Service is investigating a robbery that occurred Monday evening at the Pharma Plus on 10th St.

The preliminary investigation determined that a lone male entered the pharmacy around 5:40pm through a rear entrance, indicated that he had a firearm, and demanded narcotics from the pharmacy staff.

The suspect then moved behind the counter and took a quantity of narcotics before fleeing on foot.

There were no injuries, and the quantity and types of narcotics that were taken has not been released.

The suspect is described as a white male in his mid 20s, 5’10” tall, with a thin build and blue eyes.  He was wearing a dark jacket, blue jeans, dark gloves and a dark baseball style hat.  He attempted to hide his face with a mesh-type fabric over his face and head.

The Hanover Police Service continues to investigate and asks anyone with information on this case to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
