(BlackburnNews.com photo)Minto has received news that it's getting almost $1-million from the province to rebuild the main street of Clifford.
Grant money is already in place to rebuild the main downtown stretch of Elora St., the Hwy. 9 connecting link, in 2018.
The latest grant will pay for extending the rebuild north from the Jamesway Manor corner to the Redwood Restaurant.
When complete in 2019, the rebuild will include water and sewer services.
Alan Smith will begin his new role with the municipality on July 20.
