Four Charged In Clinton Robbery

Two men and two teens face over a dozen charges after a robbery in Clinton.

On February 26, the OPP responded to an Albert St. residence to investigate.

Eight people were in the the residence when four masked men barged in, brandishing an assortment of weapons and demanded cash and drugs from the victims.

One of the eight victims suffered a minor injury.

A 17-year-old male from Huron East, a 15-year-old male from Huron East, 37-year-old William Iles of Goderich, and 25-year-old Jordan Crete of Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh have been charged with the following offences:

• Robbery with theft
• Mischief under $5,000
• Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
• Imitation with a firearm while committing offence
• Disguise with intent
• Eight counts of assault with a weapon

Iles is also facing an addition charge of possession of marijuana, and was held with a court date scheduled for Friday, as was the 17-year-old. The other two individuals have been released with a future court date.
