The municipality of Bluewater is joining several other lower-tier municipalities in Huron County and changing the way they vote in next year's municipal election.
Mayor Tyler Hessel says voters in Bluewater will be voting by telephone or on the internet in the 2018 election.
He adds Bluewater is part of a group that hopes to get all nine lower-tier municipalities to do the same and make the change a county-wide effort which make it cheaper for everyone.
Hessel says it only happens every four years but anytime sharing services can reduce costs it's a good thing.
