PJHL Wrap-Up: Patriots and Barons Now Lead Respective Series

Hanover 5 Kincardine 3

Jarrett Kuntz struck twice and added an assist in the Hanover Barons 5-3 win over Kincardine.

The Barons take a 2-1 lead in the Pollock Division quarter final series.

Brodie LeMay scored and had two assists for the Barons and Garrett Logie scored and set up another.

The Bulldogs were led by Payton Dunlop with a goal and an assist. Keegan Angel had two assists in the loss.

Braeden Ellis earned the win with 27 saves. Malcolm Young stopped 34 shots for the Bulldogs.

Mount Forest 2 Wingham 1

Ryan Maksymyk scored the game winner on the power play midway through the second as the Mount Forest Patriots edged Wingham 2-1 in game two of that best-of-seven quarter final series.

The Patriots now have a 2-0 series lead.

Josh Stewart opened the scoring for Wingham at 1:21 of the second. Spencer Holt answered for Mount Forest just over two minutes later.

Mathieu Oullette earned the win with 30 saves. Alex Metzger stopped 21 shots for the Ironmen.
