Wightman Telecom To Install Fiber Optic In Teeswater

The Town of Teeswater will soon see fiber optic installed in the community.

The Municipality of South Bruce has endorsed a plan from Wightman Telecom to upgrade existing copper to fiber optic.

The project to bring the latest technology to the town represents a $2.7-million investment in South Bruce.

Mayor Robert Buckle says with the expansion of Gay Lea, the upcoming investment from Wightman, is another positive step forward to grow and promote economic development.

Wightman Telecom will move ahead with the project in 2017
