PJHL Wrap-Up: Exeter Gets The Shut Out

Exeter 3 Aylmer 0

Trevor Fleming stopped 27 shots to earn the shut out as the Exeter Hawks defeated Aylmer 3-0.

The Hawks out shot the Spitfires 56-27.

Adam Gibb, Christian Petrozza and Liam Melady all scored for the Hawks.

Mount Forest 5 Wingham 1

The Patriots scored three times in the second en route to a 5-1 win over Wingham.

Jesse Hewak scored twice for the Patriots. Kyle Hunter set up three of the Hawk's goals. Jack Vautour and Ryan Maksymyk scored and had an assist in the win.

Mathieu Oullette made 34 saves. Patrick Do allowed four goals on 12 shots before being replaced by Alex Metzger. Metzer stopped 10 of 11 shots in relief.

Mitchell 7 Hanover 3

Tyler Pauli struck twice and set up another as the Mitchell Hawks beat Hanover 7-3.

Nick Jung also picked up three points in the victory with three assists.

Chase Duckworth, Drew Gross and Black Pickering each scored and had an assist for Mount Forest.

Jordan Reaman led the Barons offence with a pair of goals.

Wyatt Nicholson earned the win with 16 saves. Braeden Ellis stopped 17 shots for the Barons.

Goderich 2 Kincardine 2

Jesse Gun tied the game for Kincardine with just four seconds left and neither team scored in overtime as Goderich and Kincardine played to a 2-2 tie.

Kincardine led 1-0 after the first. Jordan Van Haelemeesch scored shorthanded at 5:39 of the opening frame for the Bulldogs.

The Flyers Tyler McCracken and Jack Francis scored in the third to take the lead  before Gunn's tying goal late in the frame.

Connor Irwin stopped 16 shots for the Flyers. Malcom Young made 22 saves for Kincardine.
