A 22-year-old man is in critical condition after being hit by a car in Georgian Bluffs Township Friday.
It happened just before 8:30pm at Grey Rd 1 and Balmy Beach Rd. Ontario Provincial Police in Grey County say a 2009 Kia travelling northbound on Grey Rd 1 struck the Brockton Township man as he walked southbound in the centre of the road.
The victim was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries and later taken by land ambulance to a hospital in London, where he remains in critical but stable condition.
The driver, a 71-year-old man and his passenger were not injured.
