A total of 45 traffic-related charges were laid in a five-hour period in Stratford Thursday.
Officers from Stratford, Aylmer, St. Thomas, London, Woodstock, Strathroy, and the OPP were in the Festival City for what is called the Four Counties Traffic Initiative.
A total of 75 vehicles were stopped for various infractions, 45 charges were laid, and 30 warnings were issued for various minor traffic offences.
Among the charges laid were 14 for disobeying a stop sign, ten for speeding, 12 for expired validation, three for expired insurance, and two for distracted driving.
