Owen Sound Blanked North Bay

Michael McNiven stopped all 23 shots he faced as the Owen Sound Attack shut out the North Bay Battalion 3-0.

Julian Sime made 44 saves before being pulled in the final 90 seconds of play to give the Battalion an extra man.

Jonah Gadjovich scored twice for the Attack, including the game winner in the first and the insurance goal in the second. Ethan Szypula had the Attack's third goal on an empty net with 22 seconds left in regulation.

The Attack out shot the Battalion 45-23 in the victory. They are now three points up on Kitchener for third in the Midwest Division and are 8 points back of first place London for the Division lead.

In other OHL action:

Cliff Pu struck twice and added an assist as the London Knights topped Oshawa 5-3. Tyler Johnson made 22 saves to earn the win. Jeremy Brodeaur allowed four goals before being pulled in final seven seconds to give the Generals the man advantage.

Matt Hotchkiss struck twice including the game winner in overtime as the Guelph Storm edged the Sarnia Sting 4-3. Jaden Lindo tied the game for the Sting early in the third. Anthony Popovich made 28 saves for the Storm. Aidan Hughes stopped 39 shots for Sarnia.
