Snow Covered Roads & More On The Way

The snow has been falling overnight and is expected to continue right through the day today throughout Midwestern and Southern Ontario.

Weather forecasters say a Colorado low has moved into the area spreading snow in a northeasterly direction.

Many areas already receiving upwards of 10 cm with more expected.

Milder air will briefly enter the region today causing snow to change to periods of rain or freezing rain.

It will change back to snow tonight with the return of cold arctic air. We could see a few more cm by tomorrow morning.

As for the roads, many highways and secondary roads are completely snow covered this morning, many also not plowed though the plows are out working to clear snow.

Once again, slow it down and drive according to the weather conditions.
