A Stratford man is in custody, facing a charge of robbing a variety store in St. Marys in October.
A man entered the M & M Variety Store on Water St. S on the night of October 26, and threatened the clerk. He then removed cash from the register and fled on foot.
After a lengthy investigation, the Perth County OPP Crime Unit arrested 24-year-old Tyler Richardson of Stratford. He is charged with one count of robbery.
He has been remanded in custody until a court appearance in Stratford on December 19.
